Our Scouts recently took part in an incredible weekend of international connections and learning during the JOTA-JOTI (Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet) event! Each year, JOTA-JOTI brings Scouts from across the globe together through amateur radio and online channels, making it the largest Scouting event worldwide. This year’s experience was unforgettable!
The weekend was packed with exciting activities designed to help our Scouts connect with others, learn about new cultures, and gain technical skills in communication. Through the internet, our Scouts reached out to fellow Scouts in different countries, discovering the diversity and unity of the global Scouting community.
Beyond the fun and friendships, this weekend gave our Scouts a chance to explore digital citizenship and communication skills. With the guidance of leaders and volunteers, they practiced safe online interactions and respectful communication, empowering them to be responsible global citizens.
